As Teambuild's work in Singapore grew, the group needed more skilled tradespeople across its companies, and it needed them to be of a consistent quality. To meet this demand without lowering its standards on quality or safety, Teambuild set up its own training institute in Chennai.

The aim is simple. We train workers the way Teambuild builds. Each trainee learns the methods, the quality expected and the safety habits used on Singapore worksites, so they can do good work from their first day on site. This gives Teambuild a steady source of skilled labour, and it gives each trainee a clear and supported route into a construction career in Singapore.

All training at TBVTI is carried out to Singapore standards and follows a BCA approved syllabus and training standards. Each course combines classroom lessons with supervised, hands-on practice in well-equipped workshops, and places strong importance on workplace safety throughout.

Every candidate who trains at TBVTI is assessed at the end of the course. The certification offered is awarded only upon successful completion of the training program, and it recognises the trainee's skill in their chosen trade. Each certificate can be checked easily on this website, or by scanning the QR code printed on it.
