TBVTI trains across seven construction trades. We teach each trade end to end, from the very first step of cutting, mixing or setting out, right through to the finished output. By the time a trainee completes a course, they understand the full process of their trade, not just one part of it.
Every course follows a BCA approved syllabus and is taught to Singapore standards. Each course ends with an assessment, and the certification offered is awarded upon successful completion of the training program. Every certificate can be checked on this website.
Our training area in Chennai was built to give trainees real, hands-on experience. The workshops are set up to match the conditions, tools and pace of an actual Singapore worksite, so trainees practise on the same kind of work they will do on the job. They carry each task through from start to finish, which builds the confidence and skill to perform from their first day on site.

Reinforcement steel gives every concrete structure its strength. In this trade, you learn to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules, then cut, bend, place and tie steel bars to the quality expected on Singapore worksites.
Read structural drawings and bar bending schedules. Cut, shape, place and tie steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete. Senior workers also set out the steel and check the work before concrete is poured.
Erecting, aligning and bolting structural steel such as columns, beams, bracings and trusses, with the basics of rigging and welding applied to Singapore site practice.
Read fabrication drawings, then align, bolt and weld structural steel members. Work safely with lifting crews during erection and check each connection for fit and quality.
Building timber formwork for foundations, columns, beams and slabs, including setting out, propping, preparing for the pour and safe stripping.
Build timber formwork from drawings, set props and bracing, check level and alignment, get the form ready for concrete, then strip and reuse the materials after curing.
Develop practical skills to fabricate, assemble, align, and install industrial piping systems by performing pipe measurement, cutting, edge preparation, fit-up, inspection, and safe handling of tools in accordance with BCA standards.
Measure and prepare pipes from fabrication drawings, perform accurate fit-up and alignment, assemble piping components, inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy, and maintain safety and quality standards throughout the pipe fitting process.
Internal and external plastering, from surface preparation through to a smooth, paint-ready finish.
Prepare the surface, mix the plaster correctly and apply it to walls and ceilings. Rule and level the coats, finish to a clean surface, and cure properly to avoid cracks.
